Mission

At our Gurdwara in Reading, we stand as a beacon of faith, unwavering in our commitment to upholding the values and traditions of the Sikh religion. Central to our mission is the profound belief in the teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji and the subsequent Gurus, emphasizing the principles of selfless service, equality, and compassion for all beings. Within our sacred walls, we foster an environment of spiritual growth and enlightenment, where devotees gather to engage in prayers, hymns, and discussions that deepen their understanding of Sikhism and strengthen their connection to Waheguru (God). Beyond the corners of our temple, we extend our hands to the local community, embodying the Sikh principle of seva, or selfless service.
